A Valentine’s Letter

written by Lydia Mormen February 14, 2021
A Valentine’s Letter

Dearest friend,

Do you know that you are so loved?

Did you know that when God created each unique star in the sky and the flowers that bloom each spring that He had plans for your life, even then. That your name was written on His hand?

Did you know that despite everything you have ever done, the good and the bad and the things that you can’t even bear to share, that he loves you with an everlasting love? That nothing you have ever done or will ever do can change his thoughts towards you? Do you know that those thoughts are as countless as grains of sand on the seashore?

Sweet girl, do you know that you are precious?

He knows the exact number of hairs on your head, the intricacy of your unique finger print, the secret longings of your heart. Did you know that to Him, the creator of the universe, you are more precious than rubies? That when he looks at you He rejoices with singing?

He sees you striving for the next best thing and to know what the future holds. He sees you when you compare yourself to the person on your left and on your right and He says, “My darling daughter, if only you knew. My plans for your life are beyond your wildest dreams.”

He is beside you in every battle and He has kept a count of all your troubles and bottled up each individual tear. He wants to lavish His love on you if only you’d let Him take centre spot in your heart.

Beautiful one,

His love is the only love that can satisfy. His love is the only love that can heal. His love is the only love that can fix together the pieces of your heart. His love is the only love that can take you on an adventure beyond your wildest dreams.

His love is perfect and you are a part of the greatest love story ever told.
