All Is Not Lost, You Can Still Do Lent!

written by Emma March 16, 2018
All Is Not Lost, You Can Still Do Lent!

How many of you started off Lent with great ambition, maybe you were giving up chocolate, or TV, or social media, but now we are 27 days in, you’re sat on the sofa with a big bar of dairy milk, watching Made in Chelsea whilst scrolling through Instagram? THERE IS STILL TIME!

Lent is 40 days, but here’s a fun fact; Sunday’s aren’t included so if you were to actually count the days, it would be 46 days! So you really do have LOTS of time left to make this season count.

Have you heard of 40Acts? It’s a generosity challenge that focuses less on giving stuff up, and more on giving stuff OUT! It helps us think about other people in our world and how we can make their day better by being kinder, more generous, more loving, and maybe even a bit more like Jesus!

Every day there is a brand new challenge that gets sent straight to your inbox, which makes it really fun and easy to keep up with because it will never be the same thing 2 days in a row! Over the last 7 years since 40Acts begun, over 100,000 people have already joined the movement and we’ve totttaalllyyy got FOMO so we have decided to join in too! From today onwards our team are going to try and take part in as many of the daily challenges as possible!

Will you join us?

You may be thinking, ‘what’s the point, there’s only 13 days left!?’ we hear you! But what’s the point in doing something for 40 days if it’s not going to impact how you live in the long run anyway? We totally believe that 13 days of generosity will impact your outlook more than you know! We want to challenge ourselves to create habits of kindness and love, and this is the perfect way to start, not just for Lent, but for our whole year and beyond!

Sign up here and join us for the 40Acts generosity challenge!

They also share the daily challenges on their Instagram so follow them to keep up with the latest. We can’t wait to do this last bit of Lent with youuuuu!
