Now big up EB (Emma Borquaye) for starting Girl Got Faith last year to encourage all of you wonderful Girls that Got Faith, and woop woop we’ve entered a new year! I just wanted to share a prayer for all you GGF readers that this year would be a year for you all, where faith continues to grow and you continue to live out your everyday lives of faith boldly and confidently:
Heavenly father,
Thank you for the New Year. Thank for new beginnings in life and thank you for daily new beginnings through your son Jesus. I ask that this be a year for all Girl Got Faith readers that is lived fully for Jesus.
I ask heavenly Father that this year would be a year where we’re zealous for your Gospel and keen to share the good news with those who don’t know you yet.
Help us to keep our hearts and minds fixed on you and in your word; help us to live according to your word also.
Help us Lord in our schools, colleges, universities, work places, sporting & social teams as well as our families, to show the love of Christ in everything we do.
I pray that we would have conversations with people that demonstrate the love of Christ and that our actions would show the love of Christ.
Whilst being a Christian today can be challenging, I pray for strength so that we can lean on you daily, knowing we don’t have to run this race alone.
