He Is Faithful

written by Destiny Bright June 1, 2018
He Is Faithful

God has been speaking to me recently about what ‘faithfulness’ really means.  I want to share these truths with you and hope they bless your heart.

God is faithful, even when it feels like He is not

How we feel does not change who God is. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). In a world that is always changing He is our constant and keeps us grounded.

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” – Deuteronomy 7:9

He is faithful enough to see you through your hardship

With all that goes on in life, it’s easy to forget this one. God’s faithfulness is enough for you. He is more than able to guide you in all that you do and to keep you going.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23

He is faithful in his promise to protect you

God protects us in all that we do. God’s protection can be found even in the most unlikely circumstances. The disappointment you faced might have been a blessing in disguise. God protects us from so much more than we know.

“The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

His faithfulness promises forgiveness

You will never be too far gone to receive God’s forgiveness. He loves you and will welcome you with open arms.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

He will never give you more than you can handle

“God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13

Faithfulness is who He is

God is faithful even if we are not. His love and mercy is enough to sustain us

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” – 2 Timothy 2:13

Faithful to make His promises for your life a reality

Whatever dream or promise God has placed in your heart will happen! The journey to getting all that God has for you might seem difficult and painful but He promises that He is for us and keeping that truth in your heart will give you the strength you need to keep trusting in Him.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” – Jeremiah 29:11

I hope this encourages you to remember that even in the most trying of times, God’s faithfulness will always see you through!
