Superhumans

written by Esther Egbeyemi December 16, 2016
Superhumans

The world is full of some incredibly talented people. With the rise of generation Youtube and Instafame, we’ve been exposed to a wave of amazingly fabulous, beautiful, ultra-likeable perfect human beings. There are all sorts of people using their abilities to make a name for themselves, from makeup and fashion gurus to breathtaking singers, insane dancers and brilliant actors.

One of my fave people to watch on Youtube is Patricia Bright. She’s gorgeous, charismatic, relatable and seems like she would be the ultimate big sis. I actually love her!

When we’re looking at people on these various platforms every day, it can make us feel a bit, well…ordinary.

Much like myself, I’m sure many of you have seen people in the spotlight that you admire and have thought to yourself I don’t look like her! or I can’t command a room like she does! and you might start to believe that you have nothing to really give.

But let me tell you something my friend. THAT, is a total lie. E V E R Y single one of us  has a special talent, something you can do in a way that nobody else can.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights who does not change like the shifting shadows.” – James 1:17

Not only do you have unique talents, but these have been gifted to you from God himself! The Bible says that we have been fearfully and wonderfully made by our heavenly Father and that includes our skills, talents and abilities. What you have is so incredibly special!

So, I want you to have a look at what’s in your hands.

What makes you a superhuman in your own right?

Maybe you’re an amazing cook? Or perhaps you’re brilliant with styling hair? Are you super creative, smart or athletic? You could be somebody who is super supportive and always knows what to say to cheer people up?

Whatever it is — and it could be multiple things — own it gurlll! I want each of you lovelies to take the incredible talents and gifts that God has given you and use them to go out and change the world!
